Az evuska párnákkal új megvilágításba szeretném helyezni a filcet, és a gyapjút, mint alapanyagokat. A bennem megszülető képeknek, gondolatoknak találtam formát a párnákban, a használati tárgy funkciójával is felruházva azokat. Fontosnak tartom a minket körülvevő tárgyak minőségét, hiszen ezek határozzák meg mindennapjainkat. Ezért szeretnék olyan tárgyakat létrehozni, ami frissességével, egyediségével ad valami újat használójának.

Hi,
I’m Eva Szep, I live and work in Budapest, Hungary.
I am the designer and maker of ’Evuska’ products. I got this name from
my niece Adel when she was two and used to give new names for family
members. So the name ’Evuska’ has stuck on me. I started using this name
for my brand because it perfectly describes me and my style of drawings
and graphics.
I like natural materials but I always search for new or unusual form for
them; for example I use felt-and-wool for my robots. I beleive this
helps to transform this mechanic object into a personal item. My robots
are decorated for adults but also can be toys for children.
Besides the robots I sew handmade, one-off felt pillows which are all
unique pieces, and I make limted edition screen-print canvas pillow
cases and bags using my graphics. Only 20 pillow cases and 20 bags are
made from every design.
I work near to my pleace in a small workshop we set up with two freinds.
They also have their own little creative companies so we often talk
next to a cup of tea and give tips to each other. I like this place
jam-packed with fabrics, threads, scissors’ and many-many sewing
supplies - and big laughs, too.
